Welcome to Secure The 'Force . This page contains the step-by-step instructions which you can follow in order to get started.
Step 1: Register an account by entering your first name, last name, company name, user name, email address and a secure password. Make sure the password you choose is easy to remember!
Check your email (the one that you used to register) for two messages from Salesforce. One will be a Welcome email, and the second will be an email containing a link to your Salesforce trial org.
It can take a few minutes for the email to be sent from Salesforce. While you are waiting you can get a head start racking up points by answering the question challenges as they do not require access to your challenge org.
Step 2: Once you receive the second email, click on the Verify Account button to set up your challenge org.
Step 3: Set a password and security question for your new Salesforce account.
Step 4: Log in to your new Salesforce account by navigating to https://login.salesforce.com, using the automatically generated username from the welcome email, you do not need to register a recovery phone number.
Step 5: If you are not logged in to Secure the 'Force, then login using the Login in the upper right corner of this page.
Step 6: To connect your new Salesforce trail org with the Secure the 'Force app, complete the Initialization challenge (located in the Challenges tab).
Navigate to Challenges and find the Initialization challenge.
In the challenge, click the Validate button. This will redirect you to your Salesforce org. If you are not already logged in you will need to log in with the credentials you set up in Step 3.
If you have not yet granted access to the CTF Eval connected application then click Allow when promoted.
After the challenge is validated you will be returned to the Secure the 'Force challenge page. Your flag value will be displayed to you (hint: you may need to keep track of your flag values for the bonus challenges). You must then click the Submit Flag button to claim the credit (and get the points) for successfully solving the challenge.
Completing the Initialization challenge will unlock the hands-on Admin and Developer challenges inside the app.
